She has to get something out of it right? How is a five minute trip every two hours THAT MUCH FUN??? (said in a sad, very tired, can't-even-think-voice) And when am I going to sleep a full night again? |

I know the feeling. Since we got our pup, I've got him accustomed to always peeing at 3 a.m. While I may be up already, sometimes I'm not ready to move... just hang out upstairs. .....but he still whines like crazy to go out. ...although he's not the only one since the cats are meowing for food too.
The way I always made them go longer, is every night add 30 min from the normal 2 hr mark. Always works for me for both 2 and 4 legged peeps! |
Joahaeyo.....why is there fabulous looking food in your photos? I am now sooooo hungry! |
You really just have to tough it out and ignore the whining. It sucks, but she needs to get back on a regular schedule again before it starts becoming a habit. If she was holding it through the night before, she'll be fine. It'll just be a rough night or two while you listen to her crying. |
Jenny just had a 24 hour bout with diarrhea, but fortunately she only got up once at night to go out and once it was over she was right back to her routine. Jenny is a great nighttime sleeper though. |
