I agree - and a primer on how the systems works differently (in your spare time ) |

Hi Jill, Please let me know what you want explained and I will try and do so. Stewart |
CAC is a challange certificate which when you have fulfilled the stipulations of an individual country will entitle you to the champion title. CACIB is the challange certificate for an international champion. BOB means Best of Breed Champion titles are gained as follows: German Champion Kennel Club: you need 5 CAC's in total, between the first and the last CAC there has to be a minimum of one year and one day, three of the CAC's have to be awarded at international shows and the CAC's have to be awarded from at least three judges. German Champion Club: here you need only 4 CAC's in total although the time limit is the same, from the 4 CAC's two of them have to be awarded at international shows and also from three independant judges. International Champion: here you need 4 CACIB's awarded in three different countries and from three different judges, the time span is also one year and one day. Belgien Champion: you need four CAC's awarded from three judges and over a time span of one year and one day. Danish Champion: three CAC's awarded from two judges with no time span but the dog has to have a minimum age of I think 24 months. Gibraltar Champion: two CAC's under two judges and no time span although a dog with a champion title in another country who has been entered in the open class will acheive the champion with only one CAC This may give you an idea how things work in Europe. |
Thanks, Stewart-- that's exactly what I wanted to know. |
I had the same question as well - thanks! |

Thanks stewart I still get confused with the system in Europe so I think I have a better understanding now. With one of mine in Europe I found it hard to understand, you have put it in plain detail. So thankyou. Congrats to you and Zorro so glad you guys are back in the ring and look forward to hearing future results with Zorro. |
Congratulations and WAY TO GO Stewart and Zorro!!!!!
Keep it up!!! Ali & Norm |
