Daisy in UK rescue centre

Does anybody know anybody in the Uk that wants a rescue OES ?

Please read the whole forum link as she was adopted out but through no fault of her own she was brought back in.
She is house trained and is doing well on a leader but is still very nervous

I keep looking at her, poor girl she seems shes had a bad time.

Do you know what she is like with children?
Daisy is nervous although she is coming on in leaps and bounds at the moment. She seems more nervous of males than females and she is more nervous around the fosterers 10 year old son but it is only nervousness due to lack of contact with people . she is getting a bit more confidence in herself every day. :D
When they got her she wouldn't have anything to do with anyone, male or female , she was one scared sheepie  .
Oh what a shame, we would have loved to rescue her as we already have our 3rd Rescue Charlie. Unfortunalety we are moving abroad and couldnt take her with us.

Hope Daisy gets a wonderful home! Would be nice if it's someone from our Sheepie site!!
She is adorable but we just cant afford the upkeep of another sheepie. please keep us updated xx
Update from "Daisys Diary "

I cannot believe the transformation in Daisy in just a week. She was that petrified when she arrived she did a "Dexy's" (Midnight Runner!! ) which involved almost a military operation with numerous cars and people trying to catch her again.

Now she is never more than a foot away from me and I have to say that she really has been my most rewarding foster to date. She is just desperate to be loved and would happily be cuddled and fussed all day if you had the time, she is such a gentle soul.

She is house trained, sleeps well at night, non destructive, travels well in a car, can be left for short periods without problems, mixes nicely with other dogs and walks sensibly on a lead - her manners are impeccable!!

What are you waiting for??
I've just joined your forum as I had the pleasure of fostering Daisy for a few days & if she doesn't find a home in the next few days she will be coming to me for a fortnight while her current fosterer is on holiday :)

I found Daisy to be absolutely adorable. She loved my children, aged 10 & 12 & was initially wary but soon warmed to my 17 year old son.

She is definitely more wary of males than females-this is common in ex-breeding bitches as their mistreatment is usually delivered by men :x

Thank you so much to sixpence for crossposting Daisy to this forum, I really hope she will soon find a home with people who will help her to blossom :aww:
Welcome emeraldlady :D

Welcome to the forum emraldlady... THANK YOU for all that you do!
I'm sooooo trying not to read this thread.

I have a soft spot for any sheepie called Daisy and she sounds so sweet.....

I really couldn't cope with three and I think Poppy & Sweetpea would just be too much for this gentle girl. She deserves someone she can cuddle up to without having to wait her turn.

Fingers crossed that special someone isn't far away now.
Daisy is reserved :yay:
What good news! Keep us posted please  :D
Oh I am so pleased :excited:
I hope she finds a good home I was trying to think how I could squash another sheepie in!

shave them down to make room
Archie would probably like a sister......................
Has Daisy gone to her new home yet ?

I couldn't take a girl, as have 2 dogs - but should you need someone to come sit with her for a day or two, or just to have someone make a fuss of her - I'd be more than happy to drive up - its not far from me.
Daisy went to her forever home yesterday

She is living with another Sheepie so should be very happy!

Friends of The Animals RCT have two more coming in soon, another ex-breeding bitch & an 18 month old boy who is being surrendered. Keep an eye on their website if you're interested :)
That is just fantastic news !! I hope she gets lots of love and cuddles and will be happy

Welcome to the forum.

Daisy has a furever home now, but I think there were a couple more shepeies that needed a home. The link is on this thread if you read through.
There is no way we would be able to take a rescue either :( but my heart goes out to them whenever I read about them. I'm glad Daisy found a furever home. Please continue to post about those needing homes on here.

Welcome to the forum those who just joined!
