I was so clever with meatloaf leftovers!
Last night I was making spagetti. I didn't want meat in my sauce, but Tony insists on a meat sauce. So...I took out the leftover meatloaf, chopped it up very fine, sauted it in olive oil with garlic, and added it to the sauce. He loved it! He didn't have a clue. Think about it: Meatloaf has onions, green pepper and most of the stuff you season meat sauce meat with. It was perfect! I don't know why I never thought about this before! Man, I good! :wink: |

I love leftover meatloaf and reheat it for a second meal or make sammiches. White bread, butter and ketchup. We need a yummy face emoticon! |

But since I try to only eat red meat once or twice a week...I prefer the orginal meatloaf meal. I don't know why tony won't eat it. Its soooooooo good! (Even cold right outta the tinfoil!) |

| great idea in the speghetti!! I have one son who adores meatloaf and loves it the next day too so we rarely have any left. If I ever do... I know what we will have the next evening!! Speghetti anyone?

| Everyone here loves meatloaf so I purposely make way too much just to make sure there are leftovers...
That's a good idea though, I prefer spaghetti without meat in the sauce too and so does one of my sons. |
| Good idea, Deb! I made meatloaf last night and I never make enough for leftovers for both of us if the meat is going to be the 'main' part, so that sounds good.
Maybe I'll crumble it on a pizza. |
