Duncan let Harry know that Harry was being rude
Duncan was fine with Harry hanging around him or sniffing his paws -- but when Harry worked up to sniffing Duncan's face, it wasn't okay. Duncan made a quick, loud bark and walked away. I think Harry transported himself to the couch arm without using the transporter because Harry was beside Duncan and then he was on the arm of the couch. It was fast! I'm SO glad that I read that essay on rude dogs because my cat was being rude! Duncan, if I hadn't had that information would have gotten in trouble for barking at the cat, was simply letting Harry know that he was in Duncan's bubble. I have a feeling that Harry isn't going to do that again!  |

 I'm sure Harry sat on the couch and thought, "I ain't doing that again!" Then again, if Harry is a trouble maker, he may decide that was fun and will go after Duncan again just to egg him on. |

I'm glad I read the aritcle as well. I learned how to show Lucy that I will protect her when she is scared. We walk every evening, but she is scared of loud noises, like lawn mowers. I was petting her and talking to her, but learned to stand between the obstacle and her. It has really helped the last couple of nights. |
