Seems she went in with her black lab, told the dog to sit and dropped the leash while she went to get her mail. Dan walked in behind her and the dog got up and ran over to him. The lady of course says to him " don't worry, he's well trained.) Now Dan took Beowulf kicking and screaming to obedience class when we got him (and to a new instructor when I was ready to toss them both out). He has never been big on this stuff, until now. His response to the woman? "Trained at what - cause it certainly isn't obedience?" On top of it, last night he came home from his last CGC class (the test had to be rescheduled to the 15th) and tells me he signed up for Rally obedience classes starting Monday night. I wonder if my trainer makes house calls and will train husbands |

Way to go, Dan!!! I love that he had the perfect comeback comment, and even said it hmmm, he must have spent some time around another outspoken individual.....
I met Todd at obedience classes, so I knew he really knew how to train before we started dating But, he generally doesn't make the comments outloud, he saves them and tells ME all about it later! I think it's great they are going ito rally - how fun with a newf - I love watching them in rally and obedience |
There must be a standardized husband training course. That sounds like something directly from my guy. |
Oh darn it with a heading like this on the post I thought it was going to be how to train Hubby and some good advice/tips there. Like never leave the toilet seat up in case wifey in the middle of the night falls in
WTG Dan I'd have to say something smarty too in a siutation like that Look forward to hearing how dan goes with is it Beowulf he is going to do the rally obedience with? |
