Will it work? |
|
yep-- made one yesterday using a bundt pan. If you have three-- make sure you use the one closest in size to a tube pan |
It will work if you aren't making an angel food cake. If you are and your pan is teflon the cake won't crawl up the sides, also when you turn it upside down to cool it's liable to fall out of the pan. |
I don't understand?
Yes I can use a bundt pan for a angel food cake or not???? I want to cut it in half and add a strawberry cream and top with whipped cream. |
All I can add is that I used a bundt pan again last night for my angel food cake. I hung it over a pop bottle until it cooled, and it came out wonderful. DO NOT grease the pan... No problem with it rising to the top of the pan. From my experience I can say a bundt pan works just fine. If in question-- I guess I would just go buy a tube pan. |
Thanks for the update. I am going to bake in my bundt pan. I don't need another cake pan to take up room. I will let you know how it turns out. |
I made it. Yes it baked OK. But I had a hard time getting it out of my bundt pan, I think a spray would have worked. Now I have a pan to clean. No biggie. I think this bundt pan was to fancy with all of its design inside. Like a church. |
^^
I had the same problem as well because I followed the directions on my recipe that said do not spray. I blame it on the pan although I used the one recommended as a substitute, but it was MUCH easier to go to the store and buy one of the already made angel cakes. they are SUPER SUPER cheap to top it off. |
