Hello Everyone,
Its been a months since I got back from Oahu. Firstly, I didn't gain a single pound while there. Secondly, I'm still waiting on the photos from the ceremony. Yesterday my hubby bought home a WII to go with the flat screen tv we had to have (no really, our old one stroked out). He also bought WII Fit, so I don't have to use the treadmill in this heat. Yes its already 80 in the early morning. How fun the WII Fit is. |
Congrats on the weight loss and exercise.
I don't think people understand how hot it is in lower AZ in the summer morning.....especially now that you are getting back to triple digit heat. I'd leave Mom's at 4 a.m. to drive home and see many people out doing their morning exercise because it was only 80-85 at 4 a.m. Come August/Sept with higher humidity, that could easily be 90+ at sunrise. |
Its been 11 days since my Hubby bought home the WII Fit. I have used it 8 days and have lost 4 lbs. I'm 5 lbs away from my big goal and am so excited.... This is alot of fun, and you do sweat. You don't even realize how long you have been working out. I was up at 7:00 am today and it's already 90 degrees. Goodbye outside workouts. |
good for you!!!
i groomed panda at 830 yesterday morning....sweated like a pig and now know what a real hair shirt feels like.... sweat + dog hair = torchure! it was 110 yesterday with 40% humidity.....ick! |
Hawaii is a beautiful spot. I noticed the Hale Koa title in the picture. Did you stay there? If you did, the DoD. also has great hotels in Disney World (Shades of Green) and the Edelweiss in Germany (also one in Korea) for Government personnel and DoD employees. Great trips for Government folks. Recently a new spot opened in Virginia Beach also. Congrats on your 25th. Stay with your exercise routine and ESPECIALLY stay on the W.W. lifestyle progam. I know Deb is a leader and I myself lost 124 pounds about 4 years ago (and have kept it OFF so far.) It is a whole new world when you make a major change in your health and fitness. I am diabetic and was on oral meds and insulin (4Xdaily.) Now, I take NOTHING! I follow the W. W. program and have absolutely normal midrange glucose readings for non-diabetics. Keep up the good work. |
GOOD FOR YOU! I too am in ww. it is great. keep on track.
CONRATS! |
