Rocks always picking up rocks.

Well Langley loves to pick up anything and everything on his potty break and walks. I am always pulling rocks out of his mouth. He is a little devil he will race along and just grab every stick or leave. aaaah! Hopefully he grows out of that soon. I seem to remember Laika doing the same. If anyone has any hints love to hear them. I just been watching him like a hawk. I am slowly buy patio stones to put in the dog kennel. Easier to keep the area clean anyways.

Tiggy just liked sticks, still does for that matter!
What about taking out a pocket full of toys, and just keep handing those to him.
that is a good idea I will try that. If I walk him and Laika he likes to hold onto her leash. But I don't want to condone that behaviour.
Tiggy too. Funny how they just like to have something in their mouths. Tiggy has a favorite tug toy, so I would take that with us and she carried that in her mouth instead of sticks or her lead. I dont need it much now but still take it in my training pouch as I use a game of tug as a reward for extra good behaviour.
I remember when Kirby was a puppy, he ate many rocks. We were very concerned about his health, or if something was missing from his diet. However, he slowly stopped and now does not do that any more.
Funny, I forgot all about that.
Good luck.

Our's too! Loves, loves, loves the rocks  The thing that worries me is that every once in blue moon we'll get her up in the a.m. and you can smell that she's thrown up and there in the crate is about 15 rocks. 8O   :? And they wearn't there the night before so I have to assume she threw them up.

So glad to hear that mabey she will out grow it. Why she's eating rocks is BEYOND me :?
I always worry about these guys who are rock-obsessed. There is a lab at our cabin in NM who MUST carry a rock all the time and his teeth are worn down to nubs. You can actually see the pulp of his teeth.
