Buffy's weight update

She’s been doing so much better

she’s 1 year and 3 months old now and lost about 5 pounds and still going

I feed her 2 times very small amounts and sometimes one time a day.

so I think we got the whole Nutrition things down a I will keep her slightly underweight although I thought Sheepies suppose to be a little bulky.

Also I have one small problem. the pads on her back paws are cracked and very dry what can I do about this problem?

and what can be cussing this problem? excessive water encounters or her weight issue?

could be allergies caused her to lick them, or they got wet repeatedly and didn't dry and then a fungus set in. My vet usually treats our rough paws with a shot and pills and they clear up quickly.
thanks... well we shaved our Buffy bold! and she looks unbelievably funny.. also now we can see how overweight she is... about 7-9 lbs or so i think that's why her paws crack and also why she gets tired so quick... but the good news is before shaving her she was already on a diet so shes looking better and better everyday! shes more active and u can see that shes finally getting off her food addiction...with only one feeding a day of one cup of dry food a day or split one cup in to two feeding and morning run around the park :) pics will come soon before and after
that doesn't sound like enough nutrition - unless its a very dense food.

Healthy weight requires the dog ingesting the proper amount of nutirents as well.
I looked back at your post before, is she still on puppy food?
She shouldn't be at her age...
Maybe a good adult food and she could have a few more kibbles!

I know she is really young but, have you done blood work on her
to make sure nothing else is going on?
yeah shes still on Puppy food (Marick Brand) all natural good food...i was thinking about switching her over to adult food.

I just got a new batch of food so i guess new batch will be already adult food.

we got her blood work done before we spaded her when she was 8 months old and shes 100% healthy.

today she got 75% full cup of food in the morning... another 75% cup at 7:30pm and my wife gave her one of those jerky dogie treats. and we ran around the park four times she loves that then walked around so i think shes on the right track! and she got few toys :)
