Kerry, I worked as a groom for a string of polo ponies many, many moons ago. Not of that caliber, but you're still taking care of animals to the tune of maybe $100,000, not to mention you get damn attached, and you don't leave those unattended, let alone...
Of course, we didn't have the crazies we do these days. Or at least not as many of them. Still, I'd start by looking first at who had easy access, especially since there were so many affected. Horrible, horrible tragedy. Kristine |

So sad.
Wasn't there a problem with a fungus in horse feed a couple of years ago - it wasn't intentional, just accidental if I remember correctly. It seems like it was picked up in the field, before harvesting, and the fed killed the horses pretty quickly. |
