Welcome from Minnesota! |
Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for all the warm welcomes! We really appreciate it. But now at the risk of sounding like an idiot, I have to ask for help... I cannot figure out how to post pictures or do an avatar. When I try to upload anything it tells me it's too big... so I am stuck! I am obviously illiterate at this stuff! I don't know what to do... any suggestions?? |
Hi and welcome, from Chewie and I in Minnesota
I would download the pictures 1st, then make the avatar - use the "My Photos" at the top of the page. It takes two steps to load them to the site, then need to wait for the mods or admin. to approve them. More help: http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=1119 |
Thank you so much, Got Sheep!! I got them downloaded although I put the wrong title on one pic... but what the heck, at least they are there!
Now all I have to do is wait for approval... then I will have to try to figure out the avatar thingy Thanks so much, again!! |
For the avatar -
after your pics get approved, it is easy to make an avatar. The thumbnails are the exact size you need for an avatar Right click on the thumbnail picture you want as your avatar, click on properties. Then highlight copy/paste the URL address into the avatar spot (under your profile) and you will have an avatar. Good luck! |
Thank you so much, Dawn! You are making this too easy for me! lol I really do appreciate it! Don't you just love how it took me so long to figure out that your name is at the bottom of your posts?? Please bear with me... I can be a little slow at times, it seems! |
Love the name Atticus, but wondering which Atticus he's named after?
My first thought was Atticus Finch (Kill a Mockingbird), Atticus of Plato, Titus Pomponius Atticus, or Herodes Atticus. Or are you more contemporary......Atticus Rhodes? Welcome aboard! |
So glad you like the name! You were right the first time... Atticus Finch is his namesake.
There is precious little that is contemporary about me! lol I'm more the traditional type. |
Welcome |

Wow! I can't believe how nice everyone is here! Thank you all so much!! I really appreciate all your kind words.
You all have such beautiful babies... I just hope Atticus grows up to be as nice as they all are! Thank you for the compliments on my baby boy. I sure do love him! It is going to take me forever to read all the interesting posts on this forum. I know I will learn a lot, too. Anyway, thank you all again for your kind remarks... I appreciate each and every one of them. Now... on to more reading...! |
Welcome to you both from Upside down land |
Hi, welcome from Maryland......................... |
Welcome Julie and Atticus from Brenda and Chloe in WV! |
Welcome from Greg & Luann and of course Kirby.
Kirby also had one black patch. Takes lots of pictures before that area starts to turn grey. It is really funny looking back on how fast they grow and change. They are lots of fun, and like you we could not imagine life without the Kirby. Welcome again. Enjoy! Lu Ann |
Welcome.
Kirby had a black patch over his left eye also. Remember to take lots of pictures, they change so fast and it is fun to see how they looked when they were puppies. We also could not image life without Kirby, he has brought so much to our "empty nest". Enjoy - they are wonderful doggies. Lu Ann |
Welcome from Texas. |
I assumed Atticus Finch, but DH who was standing behind me reading the post came up with the other historical Atticus'. All he ever reads is history........and it stick in his head! Rarely stumped on Jeopardy!
Lovely boy to go with the great name. Lots of sheepies in Ohio! Y'all need a party of your own. |

Hi Everyone!
It is so nice to receive all the wonderful notes from you all!! Thank you so much!! Even from around the world! I guess it's true what they say... it is a small one. I will take lots of pictures... I can see the grey coming in already! I hate to see the black go, in a way. Although I think they are gorgeous when they are mature, there is a part of me that really likes the puppy color a whole lot. Wow, SheepieBoss, your husband must be a genius! I could never have all that stuff stick in my brain! ( To tell the truth, I had no idea who all the other "Atticus'" WERE... lolol The only one I knew of was Finch! ) I wasn't even going to go there to ask anything about the others! Thanks for the compliment of Atticus, too. Yes, I'm with you, Lori... we really should adopt the sheepie as our state dog! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! |
