Cool ideal!!
However, I'm positive Yuki would just get run over. She has a HUGE HUGE HUGE herding instinct, and after running ahead of everyone, she HAS to stop and wait for us to catch up. I can see it being extremely frustrating to teach her how to do it. |
I am a list member on a list for dog powered sports check this out
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/DogsLovetoRun/?yguid=301690680 I know thye are actively trying to set up local clubs. I have the scooter , haven't started the dogs yet. |
We do it, but with a 3 wheeled cart. Safer for my bones!!!
Chewie has big herding instinct too, but he knows the difference when pulling. I say go for it - I would have loved those scooters if I was about 20 yrs younger!!! Here are some pics Pulling the 3 wheeled cart with his buddy Gabby, Picture taken from the cart - Chewie pulling my 4 wheeled cart on the road in front of our house (sitting, and less distance to crash from the ground!) and a race with scooters, we were just spectators at this one, but very fun! Here's the start - and a young man coming into the finish Here's a picture I took of Chewie and Gabby (Linda, Gabby's owner is driving) on the 3 wheeled cart Chewie and I love doing this. We are on hold for now, as Chewie is being shown and need to save coat. As soon as we are done.....we will be back at it!!! It is FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!! |
Love the pictures!!!!!!
Well now that we have two sheepies (as of Tuesday), hubby and I could go together, (if we could actually afford to buy two scooters at once) |
