Was in a hurry this morning (of course), walking full speed to turn on the bedroom light, walking directly into cat scratching post (that's been in that spot forever, so I know it's there)...hear an enormous cracking noise. Fun times. And tomorrow I get to fly cross country alone with my baby. I hope I don't have to run to catch any flights! |

~~~so sorry...............Hope your trip goes better. |
OMG! Broken toes hurt sooooo much! Hope it feels better soon, and hope you have an easy time at the airport! |
Oh my gosh, that's got to hurt! What happens when you have a broken toe? I mean... will you even have a shoe over it? That's going to make carrying luggage/baby/carseat difficult!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry.
Where you going anyway (prying)? |
Where you going anyway (prying)? Seriously. Toes are so small, yet they hurt SO much! For a regular old broken toe, they don't do anything, so I'm not even going to the dr. They might tape it to the toe next to it for support, but that's it and I think I can handle that on my own (or maybe my doctor hubby perform surgery on it tonight ) Right now I have flip flops on, and that's 'okay' but I can't go very fast. I haven't tried shoes yet. I have super comfy mocassins that I'll try for my trip tomorrow. Other than that, flip flops are going to be it. Going out to CA to visit family and friends! I can't wait! |
Oh my gosh-- you poor thing. Nothing hurts like a broken toe.
Try to soak it in Epsom salts--- it really seems to help the with the soreness. Have a GREAT time in CA. Those of us seeing snow today will be California dreamin' right along with ya! |
Ouch!! Broken toes hurt something awful!! Having broken mine more times that I can count, I know of which I speak. Take some ibuprofen and try your best to keep your foot elevated so it doesn't swell. I've had to fly with a broken toe a few times, too. It sucks. Sorry you have to deal with it. |
Maybe you can get special handicapped access and be first on the plane. |
ha ha ha--sad that I was thinking about that--or at least getting to use those motorized carts Flying alone with a baby should count for something as being handicapped in some way |
I hope your toe gets better - maybe sticking it in the ocean will work.
I was going to say do you want me to all a toe truck?? I hate that joke though. Hang in there |
Your a duffer
Make sure you limp real bad when going to get seat allocation and look like your struggling heaps to get Disabled access priority Hope the flight goes well with you, your toe and bubba. |
OUCH!!. Try to have a nice time anyway. |
