The Breeder Referal on the OES Club isn't working... nooo!
I tried looking at the breeder referrals because I am hoping that I can get my pup soon (maybe this year hehe). Anyone know any very good breeders or any links? Price isn't a big deal - I just want to know that I am getting a dog from a good breeder who checks for health issues, guarantees his/her dogs and works with the animals in show. (Goes off to search the web) Up, up and away! |

| You can also go to the akc website http://www.akc.org/classified/search/index.cfm
NA dfind current litters available, along with searchable OFA info etc. You can also go to the Old English Sheepdog Club of America http://www.oldenglishsheepdogclubofamerica.org/ and they will give you names of current litters when you e mail them. As always be careful and don't believe everthing you hear. A couple of considerations. Do the Sire And Dam or the recent line have any conformation wins. Conforamtion shows evaluate breeding stock and give prizes to the best. Also get the OFA number from the breeder for the Sire and Dam and check the line at http://www.offa.org/index.html. in the upper right corner put the number in and you get the history of the dogs.  |

I really wish I knew more people who could recomend a specific breeder. It would be even better if I knew someone in person who could recomend one! Nothing impresses me more than to hear someone rant and rave about their breeder - and the quality of their dogs. Mostly I just hear: "They are cute!" or "It was cheaper than getting them from a petshop." I hope I can get in touch with someone who really cares about their animals... |
