Anyone have them? better yet has anyone installed them? |

Kerry - I have the plantation shutters in every window in my farmhouse. I started out with the wood ones, and they were too expensive, so the newer ones are plastic. The wood shutters stayshut and don't rattle if you have the window open for breeze behind them. The plastci ones are easier to clean, definitely! But they are light weight and the wind blows them open even when they're latched, so I end up with rubber bands holding them together. I love how they look, though!

thanks Beth - and btw Morgan is in his first rally match next week (no trial til May) At class last night we did our very first actual course and my very picky instructor said she expects him to do fine - if we tune up our fronts and work on the sit stay a little |
I have them in my bedroom and they came from Lowes. Can't help with the installation part, we had someone do the install. They are great and very easy to clean. |

easy to clean since this is in prime dog nose and slobber space that is a priority |
I don't have the plantation style, but I have the ones where you use a string on one side to open the blind slats and a string on the other side to pull them all the way up. We love them. They're great, and look like wood, but they're not. I'd assume the plantation style would be very similar. |
