OES on Memphis Craigslist

| I have not heard back and will be off computer until morning...but I did give my cell number.
This is the first I've seen of a OES on Memphis Craigslist...I patrol the surrounding area everyday. The timing could not be worse for me. Stella sick and Max is a almost 11 year old slowing down...otherwise I'd take this boy in a instant. I've never been involved in a rescue...I've only done a home inspection for a OES rescue group...I just want to see this guy go to OES people. I'll help in anyway I can. I just need to know the whys and where's. I'll jump back on here if I get a call. |
| I am in Nashville and might be able to help. Let me know what I could do--Memphis is only a 3 hr. drive and I do have contacts there that could act quickly. |
| The owner contacted me and she has contacted Southeast OES. She lost her job six months ago and is a single mother. She is heartbroken about giving Duke up. She had no idea there was a OES rescue.
Hopefully, Southeast will contact her and give this boy a forever home. I can transport or help in other ways too. |

I have yet to hear back from them...hopefully they have contacted the owner...that is the most important thing...so she will know that she doesn't have to give Duke to to just anyone. When I hear back from them I will let them know I can help. |
