Digging
Whoever said that this breed is dumb has never has an OES, she is far from stupid. Any suggestions? |

| we had an OES many years ago. When he saw the beagle next door digging, he picked it up. the obedience trainer told us to pour some lime powder in the hole then let the dog get a breath of it. he never dug again. |
| You'll always go ten times further with love and praise than with punishment! You do have my sympathy - Woof also tires to dig up the garden on occasion. It seems to mean he's either.....
a) bored / attention seeking - we give him something better to do / play with him b) Has too much energy (usually means its time for a walk) - although your pup will understand you're upset with him, he won;t necessarily understand WHY, and so getting angry and telling him off will only confuse him (I know this is hard).....
