Hiway Dog
Looks like a great idea. Her name is Mary, and her concept is called HIWAY DOG. This idea came from traveling with her dog and the stresses in finding shady parking, motels willing to allow a dog to stay, or a grassy safe place to make a pit stop. She realized she was not alone in these challenges. So, Mary decided to build a program to address these issues, thus HIWAY DOG. What she hopes to accomplish is to have businesses all across the USA join in this mission, to provide a safe place to stop, and become part of HIWAY DOG. She has created an instantly recognizable symbol, registered the logo, bought a web domain name, and been to many businesses already. The benefits for travelers are obvious. For the businesses that become involved, it opens the door to creative promotions, has the potential to draw in a new customer base, and will promote new methods of advertising. The bones on the sign have their own significant meaning: one bone for the basic "potty stop", two bones for a walking trail or a roomy fenced exercise pen, and three bones for the businesses that want to stand out and be recognized as a model for other businesses to emulate. Become part of something big!! HIWAY DOG will forever change the way people and pets travel. |
