| This is actually not legislation that I or The Rabies Challenge Fund initiated -- Joann Camilli, the groomer whose show poodle, Louis, died a few hours after a rabies booster is the one who got this together.
There is exemption language in the current rabies law, but it is not where one might expect to find it, and it does not specify how long the waiver is good for, etc.... so I suspect that is why this bill was introduced. You should contact your Senator or Representative and ask them to attach the language you're interested.
