But they are black suede. They can be wahed. I have 6 pair that need to be done. And yes My LR is very dusty. Its this old carpet. I can dust 2 times a day. With the three OES playing it has made it very hard to to keep up. |

Forget it! Sorry........ |
Throw them in the dryer on very low or no heat. Tumble for about 20 minutes. Rehang immediately. |
Are they actual suede or microsuede? The fabric suede I'd just
take down and either tumble for a few minutes in the dryer or if they are really bad take them to the dry cleaners. Be prepared, the dry cleaner is going to cost you almost as much as the drapes. FWIW, I took half my curtains down a few weeks ago and threw them in the washer. If I had really liked them I wouldn't have done it. But I can't afford new ones and they were really getting dirty. They turned out ok, but they were mostly cotton drapes. They are lined, so I only tumbled them for a few minutes and hung them up pretty damp so the wrinkles would pull out. Shellie |
I guess they must be micro. they are insulated backs. Si I guess the dryer should work. Thanks for the input. |
