That is really cute! I'm a teddy fan, also. I have several on my bed. |
what a lucky baby to have all those lovely teddybears to look at |
Aww, Stacy! That set is just gorgeous!! |
Oh Stacy! I love it! When my son was born, I decorated his room in sailor teddy bears. I still love teddy bears, although I don't have any. That set is adorable! |
Thanks! I'm really excited about it. As a kid, I had a zillion suffed bears. At mom's place, there are still two very large acrylic shelves on her office wall that house over 300 miniature teddy bears of all shapes, colors, materials. In my house in the dining room, my Grandma's beautiful curio cabinet is filled with some of the nicer ones made by World of Bear Miniatures. Bears are a homage to my Grandma who apparently told my Mom that every little girl needed a collection and she started me on the bears. They have always been a love of mine, but once I married and $ was needed elsewhere, my puchasing of them took a sharp decline. Hopefully my little guy will enjoy them as much as I did! |
I LOVE it and am partial since our baby room is boyd bear ...it's very gender neutral. |
I love the lambs and ivy patterns. I had some of their stuff when my oldest was a baby. They are great quality! |
Have you started giving thoughts to names yet? (That's the hardest part!) |
Very cute, Stacy! I love it! |
That looks really classy! I love bears too. I will be selling my Louise Peers miniature bears soon on ebay, will let you guys know just in case. |
debcram wrote: Have you started giving thoughts to names yet? (That's the hardest part!) Yep, his name will be Evan. Possible middle name is Thomas. Quote: That looks really classy! I love bears too. I'll need to look those up. |
Sooo cute and love the name Evan Ooooh such an exciting time.
I am a teddy bear fanatic too, have them in my room and kept some of the boys ones too from when they were little well away from sheepie stuffie terrors . Even have a Teddy Ruspkin that talking bear that tells stories and I love Paddington bear one of my favourites. |
Oh, I love that Stacy! So cute!! |
Oooh super cute! |
How nice that you already know the name (and a great one, too!)...I had just delivered Taylor and we looked at each other and were like, what do we name her? She's here now, so we can't put it off much longer |
LOL
We had a similar problem. had a boy name and a girl name picked out - complete with middle names! Then had twin girls! So, LeAnne got the picked name.....Lisa got her name sometime the 2nd day The nuns made us feel so guilty... I called Todd and said "when you come in today, we HAVE to think of a name" ...we already had decided on Lisa by then, but still needed a middle name to complete the birth certificate. |
Stuff arrived! OMG, it's ADORABLE! I want to set up the room now, but we're not nearing ready. This is the stuff I'm getting excited about...not the actual baby Bad, bad Mommy! |
