Just searched back a year and can't find
I know I've responded to questions about fleas before but I can't find many posts about them...strange. Well, it seems I've got fleas  ICK, ICK, ICK!!!
I was brushing the top of Garfunkel's head and the little creepy was crawling. I caught it but then lost it. Five minutes later I did the same thing with the top of Simon's head(I like their heads to be fluffy) and again found a flea crawling. I brushed MY hair and changed clothes and hopped in the car and to the pet store. Asked lots of questions and bought Frontline. Holy schmoly that stuff is expensive, over $50.00 for three vials. I also bought some stuff to sprinkle on the carpet...just to be on the safe side. It says it kills fleas for three months. Ticks for one month. Do I still need to treat monthly for fleas? I think I may have brought them home from Florida. My luggage was on the floor at my sisters and she has/had fleas. OR and I hesitate to say this, but maybe the groomers. Its cold out and I haven't seen a flea, or flea dirt, EVER, on these dogs. So....where did they pick them up? Just thought of something...we go to a doggy daycare, at night, for agility class. Maybe there??? |
