Hope you and marley are having fun. |
well we always have fun - but I must say among the jrt's, the cattle dogs and pit bulls we certainly stood out!!
Unfortunatley I learned I can't throw backhand and Miss Marley who chases aything that moves normally totally shut down with all the barking helped along by the pittie that jumped on her butt as we walked in.(with a clueless owner who apologized because he didn't know Marley wouldn't like it ) But she wasn't as upset as she normally would be and I think we will do okay. Of course now I have more homework |
Kerry...same thing happened with Quin and I
in an obedience class.. He did so great then a golden ran over and jumped on top of him(for play I am sure) He got nippy and then looked like the"rebel" I was so upset but, we went back and he continuied to be the star student! Marley will do great! Good for you for working your babes so much! Good Momma and BTW I love that avatar! |
what is it with some people? They think because they have a crazy golden they can excuse their behavior? I see that a lot with labs too.
I was a little more concerned that someone thought a put bull didn't need to be controlled - at all And these people had two dogs - the other one a border collie pulled the woman all the way into the building. Of course, with the JRT being the worse behaved JRT I have ever seen - Marley barely registered. Besides, one of the reasons we joined the class was for the opportunity to work around the dogs and energy we never see in our daily routine. even most of our agility classes are private and semiprivate do she knows almost all the dogs we see and wwe get very little chance to work around strange dogs. she will be fine - now will I learn to throw properly? |
