I wonder if anyone could help me in deciding which carpet cleaning machine to purchase (small one for accidents) . I saw one at Canadian Tire on the weekend and they have a Bissell, Little compact deep cleaner with the turbo brush for $99.99 CDN. It's looks like a nice little unit and not too expensive and on the box they show 3 different shampoos that you can use. Has anyone used this machine before and would the Pet and odor shampoo be the best one ot use? Thank you for your help. Have a good doggy day |

I always just use a color safe bleach in any steam cleaner, does a much better job and smells great |

I never thought of that!! |
another tric taught to me by anotrher breeder was to put peppermint extract in with the shampoo............ or vanilla. |
What about Dr. Bronner's soap? I'm leary of soap what with our very alkaline water......soap tends to leave more residue, but maybe it will work in other areas....or with distilled water?
Ali's post made me wonder......hmmmmm |
All good ideas!
I do use the pet carpet shampoo. I usually spot treat dirty spots with some spray on cleaner - whatever one is handy. I just shampooed one of my rooms Sunday night! My current cleaner is the Hoover Steamvac. I love it. Very lightweight and simple to use. I had a different one before (a Bissell?) that was good too, but I like this one better. |
