After the incident and badly burned, he apparently tried to save at least one of the dogs. He is from Pennsylvania, and recently lost a 10 year old Sheepie named Ralph, and currently owns a sheepdog pup. Does anyone know this man Timothy Kleinhagen or Consummate K9 or its owners Brett or Dave? http://www.mcall.com/news/local/all-a1_ ... 2638.story |

Oh my... the story and pictures are heartbreaking.
Quote: So it was no surprise when she heard that he had saved Chili Dog, an 11-year old cairn terrier with cataracts, by lifting her over a fence before two men were able to get him to safety.
Wishing this kind, compassionate man the very best |
Not familiar with any of the names, believe this is the kennel in the Poconos where Martha Stewart's chows were housed. |
What a sad story. I hope that the driver recovers. |
It's not in the Poconos, in fact, it's only maybe 20 miles away from me. Such a sad, tragic happening, and such a fluke of an accident. The poor man! Our local paper, the one that Ron's link is from, had pictures of him with him son, and another with his son and wife. Tears my heart out! |
Horrible |
Martha Stewart lost her new chow chow pup in that fire. To show you how wonderful the showdog community has been, there has been over 12,000.00 raised for that kennel owner and to help with the gentelman's medical bills. There is speculation that his cell phone sparked the fire when he was filling the tanks.
How horrible an accident for everyone. |
