Happy Birthday, Mariah!!! Kristine Thanks for the nice compliments. Cathy & I look back on her life & our first comment always is "you know, she was an ugly duckling of a puppy. " And I have to admit that is probably true when I look back on it. She was a very slow maturing girl & she really didn't start to get pretty until she was about 2 years old. She really reminded me of a "Tomboy". And then it was just as if the older she got, the prettier she got. So this one was definitely a case of a puppy winning me over with her personality! I'm making her wait until after her dinner for her ice cream cone!  |

Yes, she did. Almost didn't tho' due to the girls working there! They kept trying to explain to me why they could put 2 cones in a "holder" ............they wouldn't stand up straight!!!!!! I finally looked at them & said "These are for my dog's birthday! I am only driving around the building to a parking space! She doesn't care if they are standing up straight! PLEASE just give them to me before they MELT!" No chance of melting. Mariah downed hers & was ready to go for mine in no time What was funniest was that when she came home, she ran right down to the kennel & stood between the 2 boys & barked & barked & barked! Just like she was trying to tell them where she had been! Didn't need to...........they smelled her chin! |
