Good luck with your quest. While you're waiting, a good book to read on the subject from th patient's perspective might be "No Laughing Matter" by Joseph Heller (author of Catch-22) and his friend Speed Vogel. |
You might want to try contacting some local nursing homes and speaking to the Nursing Supervisor. She could work as an intermediary between you and any of her patients who may have had it. If the patient was willing to talk with you, then it could be arranged.
Expect to supply the Nursing Home with your advisor's name and contact information to verify that this on the up and up. |
hello, Thank you. I will do that. I have my instructors name phone number and email address that I am able to give out... That is a wonderful idea, something I did not think of. Thank you mom of 3 and Ron.
Have a wonderful weekend, Riah |
Bed number 10 is another good book written by a woman affected by GB. A lot of nursing schools require it as reading. |
I was in nursing school during the GB outbreak. I was assigned to the Medical ICU. I think 3/4 of our patients had GB. |
