how to stop her from biting our shoes and pants?

We have tried all of the suggestions that we have come across. We just ignore her and she just continues chewing on us. We've tried saying no and crossing our arms and turning away and she bites the back of our legs. We've tried gently body bumping her away from us and she growls and lunges back to bite harder. We've taken toys and tried to distract her and she won't be lured to stop. :? :? :? :? :? oh, I should have mentioned that this is primarily a back yard issue not a house issue.

What would be the next thing you would try? All her other bad behaviors we are slowly starting to figure out how to redirect her but this one just keeps getting worse.

EDIT: Ok. It would seem typing gives me ideas. LOL. So, for two (one unsuccessful) trips to use the potty I have taken a rope to play tug of war with her. We play tug of war very nicely in the house. When she gets to riled up I say 'Uh-uh' and take the toy away. I tell her to sit and when her butt hits the floor we resume play. So, I'm trying that when we first get outside. She seems to be catching on that we can do something fun and that she has to keep it in bounds. But it does seem to be working her up and making it hard for her to go potty. :? Well, mabey in a bit we'll be able to transition to play AFTER potty.

Any thoughts?

We had a very similar issue with Winnie. Both of us had nip marks on our legs - and our shoes suffered. :o
We found that once we got into training with her, much of that behavior disappeared. We have some training routines we do every day, and we search for more.
We also downloaded the book "Teach your dog 100 English words" and use some of those training routines, too. A link to it is here: http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/ebooks/TYD.html
Sounds like you, too, have a very smart OES. They get bored easily - but also seem to want to be more dominant in their home environments.
She is teething I imagine so a testing time, all things are fair game, ourselves, shoes lots of things around the house you cant possibly know the little darlings have been into until you discover the aftermath  . Make sure she has plenty to sink those teeth into, if she nips at you, screech OUCH and then re-direct that biting to something she allowed to crunch on.

Kongs are great, stuff them and have them on standby at this stage, when she takes that in her mouth rather then you then parise the heck out of her. :plead:

It will get better as they get older, but they do have to learn we are off limits and so are certain things in the house as well
