1 3 or 4 lb chuck roast 1 tsp salt 1 tsp ground pepper 1/2 TBS ground mustard 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce 1/2 TBS Garlic powder ( I used fresh crushed garlic no powder here) 1 Large ontion chopped 1/4 cup water French bread Mayo lettuce tomato put first 8 ingredients in CP, cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Remove meat and shred. Return to the CP in the juice. Serve on French Bread, dressed with the mayo, lettuce and tomato. I put it in the CP about 30 minutes ago so I have no idea how it will come out, but I have to go set up my booth at the Stitches West convention, so I will come home to a hot, and keep your fingers crossed on this one, delicous dinner tonight. I did switch the crushed garlic from a jar for the garlic powder cause I just didn't have any and I always have a jar of the fresh stuff for cooking... I used about a table spoon all spred over the meat. I will tell you how it comes out when I get home tonight. DebCram, the chicken one you just posted sounds amazing, that will be next weeks dinner... I already have the chicken |
