how old is he? Is he neutered? Do any of the product for cleaning so as to remove the smell help? Does he go back to the same places or a new one every time? Is he sneaking to do it?
I don't have any good advise except to say that with my cats (like this could help ) they pee IN FRONT of me only when they have a problem. My one cat is very prone to urinary tract infections. Could this be the same thing with a dog? |
Has anything changed in your house? Like a schedule or food or rearranged furniture or anything? |
well peeing as opppossed to marking doesn't have anything to do with intact genitalia - so we can skip that part.
the only time I had male dogs pee in the house (unless the kids totally forgot to walk them) is when there was a medical issue. If its real pee and not marking and you don't have kids to blame, make an appointment with the vet. If its marking - yell at him and take him outside. Mine always got this message qite quickly. BTW neutering only reduces marking behavior in 50% of male dogs. |
