This was so tasty, and I served it with coleslaw, it was so amazing. |

I make it too!!!!
It is delicious and so easy. |
Ditto. |
Am I overlooking the recipe somewhere? |
It is one of my husband's favorite dishes as well. He can't believe how good it is, and how easy it is for me to make. All his friends love it, too. Aren't crock pots one of the best inventions EVER? It's really nice that they are making a comeback in the current generation as well.....people are realizing how easy and delicious and affordable the meals you can create are. |

Same here could not find it!!!! |
I think gotsheep and I assumed we all use the same "basic" recipe. Will be nice to hear how the original poster does hers!
I do boneless pork ribs (3lbs) and can of broth. Cook 10 hrs. Take out, pull and mix in bbq sauce (never use kraft ...everyone always tells me it's not as good when used) and refridge overnight to really let it marinate, then reheat 1hr the next day. If I have guests, I dirty one more pan to do perfect the dish: cook in crockpot for 5hrs then take out, shred, then stick in oven at 350 for 30 min (browns the tips and perfects it). |
Thanks Jo,
Nothing fancy... first time I ever have made it... now I might try some different stuff, but wanted to see how it was supposed to be, so here it is, nothing exciting here folks... 3lb pork roast cut in to very large chunks to fit in to crock pot 1 envelope McCorrmick Pulled Pork Seasoning mixed with 1/2 cup catsup 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup cider vinegar put all in to crock pot and cooked on high for 4 to 5 hours, pulled out the chunks and shredded with forks, removed the bone and skimmed off excess fat put the shredded pork back in sauce and mixed it together, Put it on soft sandwich buns and served with my coleslaw 1/2 head cabbage 1/4 diced onion mayo cider vinegar fresh gound pepper to taste No muss and no fuss, and this was delicious. Will make again anytime. Here is the big thing, I rarely if ever eat pork let alone cook it. Now I will do it more offten I think I will try it with the ribs. On the packet of seasoning, there is a suggestion for ribs... L |
