Dancing dogs

| our trainer does this and I did wonder about it. The training school offers classes in it, but I can't see a Sheepie being easy to dance with. Some are so big, and theres all that fur--!

My friend and rally instructor at the kennel club has done freestyle for years. She has goldens. They also are having demos at the expo I am at this weekend. I will have to try and catch some of it tomorrow. I think Chewie would like it......and said that to LeAnne. I got eye rolls  and some "perfect dog" smart comment....  |

Being a theater person I wondered if the way she was dressed had anything to do with what they were going to do. Of course she was dressed like Olivia Newton John at the end of the movie - all the way down to the hair. LOL I also have to admit I have always wanted to teach one of my dogs to dance. Although this type of competition might be a little hard to explain to my loved ones let alone the ones that aren't "dog people". Of course they do offer a merit badge doing this in Dog Scouts and I could always argue that it is helping me with rally.  |
