1 angel food cake ( I use store bought in a tube pan) 1 large box instant pudding--- any flavor 1 large container cool whip topping Tear cake into small pieces into a 13x9 glass dish. Prepare pudding according to direction on the box and pour over cake- making sure to coat each piece. Cover with plastic wrap or wax paper - pressing the paper onto the top of the cake and pudding mixture. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Top with cool whip , cut into squares and enjoy. Sometimes I top with chopped nuts - or- if I do butterscotch pudding I will crumble toffee on top. Very easy to change around for different tastes. My favorite is lemon cake with lemon pudding... |

One of my favorites!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you shared!!!!! I always like to whip that up for guests b/c it's quick but fancy!!! We add a fruit layer, crushed pineapples, and top the finaly layer w/coconut flakes! For mine, I use sour cream, package of UNPREPARED pudding folded together instead of a separate layer of pudding and cool whip!:)
Not a good pic so I never posted it before. |
that is easy!!!
Limit is only in your mind I can think of at least 8 different ones. |

Not a good pic so I never posted it before. I love the sour cream idea with the pudding. Sounds delish! I will have to try that this weekend. |
Same with the idea of mixing it up w/ other puddings and cakes. Good idea
and oops, I add 1C sourcream, pudding, AND a container of the cool whip. I had a brain fart. If I use bananas, I use the unused/wasted pineapple juice to soak the b's for 30 min so they don't brown. |
