Sorry it taken me so long to write but life gets in the way!!Leo the wonder dog is still a wonder to me. I enrolled him in obedience class to bond and lo and behold,he is an agility star.We are in class 2 and hes wowwing them. my daughter moved in with her 4 bostons.Leo loves his new friends and tries to herd them.Any suggestions to help make it better herding? My daughter has a grooming shop so now Leo goes to work and is the official greeter.Everyone gets a kiss-dog cat human. He loves them all. He is so happy. And this was a dog they kept in the garage. The only problem we have is recently when loading him for work,he gets distracted. He is high energy. And if a car goes by he chases it. Is there something we can do besides leash him? but he is a wonderful friend. He loves everyone-no shy retiring violet is Lea anymore and at nite he curls up next to me like a pup. what a love. Thank you for saving Leos life and making mine so happy Kay
P.s Leo has a rash on his back.A vet student suggested Domeboro aluminum acetate astrigent solution mixed with water spray on it and it works.don't know is anyone else has that problem |

Leo is herding the cars. He needs either a doggy seat belt or a wire crate in the car.....you'll have to tie it down what with herding boy in there.....he'll move it around.
You are seat belted for safety, Leo needs his safety too. In case of a crash, you don't want him flying through the air and maybe thru the front windshield.
Leo might be reacting to something being used on him in the salon, he may be developing a bacterial infection......I'm glad the spray appears to be working. |
