How much should a 12 week old sleep?

We've been putting her to bed at 11:00 and she wakes up at 7:00. She takes little cat (hehehe) naps during the day.

I'm starting to catch on that mabey our "behavior" issues are really that she isn't getting near enough rest. What do you all think?

they are all different really. Miss Marley used to "remind me" that a girl needs her beauty sleep and she needed to go to bed at 9, while Morgan who was 6 weeks younger stayed up with me till 11 or so.

Of course we got up at 5 and they both spent the day at daycare so I am not sure what their napping shedules really were - weekends we were busy and they slept in the car a lot.
11 - 7? That's awesome for a 12 week old. It could be though that when the puppy is tired and ready for a nap, he's getting fussy and being a jerk-- you may be on to something there. When our puppy starts getting too rowdy, he takes a mandatory nap. It usually gets put into effect about 8:30 or 9 at night and he goes into his crate. Even 15 minutes makes a huge difference in calming him down.

We are in puppy school with her and the trainer told us to stop getting up with her every three hours. We were setting the alarm and getting her up to do her business. But she does just fine without the midnight potty breaks.

That's great. Not all dogs will. I had one that did and one that didn't. From experience, I'd rather wake up then clean pee and give a midnight bath!
At 12 weeks, Fitz would get really cranky if he was overstimulated or overtired. It took me awhile to figure that out, but he seemed to be way happier, less of an out of control wild-child after he had a good long nap. I learned to tuck him away in his crate at a certain point - and that's when I first became a big fan of crates. :)

I believe that a tired dog is a good dog, but in Fitz's case - at that age anyway - it seemed to work the opposite way.
