I've used syrup instead of molasses but love the molasses. I've also made this w/o chile sauce and still tasted fabulous ...as well as adding some Tabasco sauce. Very yummy and easy! * 3lbs wingettes * 1/2C lite soy sauce * 1/2C honey * 1/4C molasses * 2T chile sauce * 1t ginger * 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped Line dish w/foil and place chicken in. mix sauce ingredients and pour over chicken. marinate for an hour or more in fridge. turn occasionally oven 375. I left about 1/4" of sauce in newly lined foil dish. bake for 50 min, and every 10 min, flip wings. You can use the sauce by boiling in pan, adding 2-3T of cornstarch mixed with 1/4C water ...until thickened to put over rice. |
