I know off topic, but i love Friday the 13th's! And this one especially b/c it is the 6 year anniversary of my husband's and mines 1st date It was the longest date i have ever been on (totally G rated date might i add )and i even got him to buy me a V-day present since when we said good-bye it was v-day
The other day I was driving in a parking lot and a black cat walked across the road, so i had to slam on my breaks. Mmmmmm....Friday the 13th. I was born on Friday the 13th & my 13th birthday was on Friday the 13th! I'd say it was my lucky number/day. Others in my family might say otherwise |
13 is our lucky number, too. Riley is due on March 13th (Friday). And our anniversary is on November 13th (also a Friday this year). We're just weird I guess........ |

To spill salt on the table used to be thought of as bringing bad luck. |
That is why you throw some salt over your shoulder if you spill it.
I also lived in an apt. building in Hollywood that had 13 floors...but no 13th floor...just a 14th floor. There were also no 13 in the apt numbers. It was built in the 1930's. |
Yes in Scotland we take a pinch of salt in the fingers of the right hand and throw it over our left shoulder to stop the bad luck. Most airlines do not have a row 13 in their aircraft. |
