Well after 6 weeks I could not stand it any more. She looked silly with a ridge on each side where the coat lenght changed. Hubby bought me new grooming shears for Christmas - (back order and just arrived) and I got my courgage up. So I trimmer her. Thanks to all the support I get here - I figured what the heck! Worst case - she goes to a groomer for a shave down - best case she looks lots better. Well I am about 80% happy with the results. I don't think I did a good job with the feet and legs but she looks better than she did. I will post pictures soon. I was not thinking and did not take when I was done. Of course, since then we have had rain and melting snow (after 3 walks - I am trying to figure out why I bothered to bath her) she is already a muddy mess. You gotta love spring temps! |

YEH!!! you did it. It does get easier as you do it more. This I also found out. If I had to take Snowy in as many times now I would be broke. LOL
CONGRATS to you. |
Good job. I have yet to do more than wash/dry/brush. I have never trimmed.... so you are already way better than me!! |
