this must be agood one but $100.00, not for me |
I would certainly go if I were in the neighborhood!
That $100.00 goes to a wonderful cause.... I have personally had contact with Dr. Jean Dodds who has given me her thoughts without a charge. (they rely heavily on donations for their research!) IMHO, she is an awesome doctor who has changed alot of vets opinions on vaccines over the years. (again this is my opinion) That being said, legally dogs have to be vaccinated for Rabies every 3 years in most states (some states are even every year) Some vets offices even will not give the three year booster if you are a week overdue! I would love to have the option of every 7 years of even just titering! The Rabies Challenge is an awesome cause and it is all to save our canine buddies from diseases that can come from over vaccinating. Please do look at the web site and see what they are all about.... I feel strongly about this, as Quin had his Rabies 3 year booster shortly before he had his diagnosis of lymphoma. I could go on and on BUT, I won't as I do not have all the facts BUT, I hope to learn more with the studies and do all I can to help dogs in the future. I hope there is a wonderful turnout to support this research! |
While it won't come close to the level of information that you'd get at the vaccine seminar - if you want to ask Dr. Dodds a few questions - I just posted that we are hosting her on the NaturalOES list next week to discuss vaccines.
