weather
I will tell on myself when i went to St Louis last week. I have never been so COLD as i was there! Dawn, Judy and Val all kept telling me "But your from COLORADO"........ I kept telling them I just don't get OUT when the weather is bad........ But here is our weather..... it was 65 today and will be almost if not in the 70's tomorrow! This is how our winter has been. We've had one or two small snow storms and it's gone within 24 hours! The wind has been bad.. and we had the three forest fires already. We are thinking that "maybe" we will get some snow here on Tuesday....... Shon up in the Mtns has had more snow than me down here and I'm only about 1 1/2 hours away from him...... 45 away from Valarie. Don't get me wrong. I"M NOT COMPLAINING!!! It was just funny you guys kept looking at me like i was crazy when i kept saying "I DON"T DO COLD!" or get out and drive in the blowing snow!! |

| Sure sounds like a normal Colorado front range winter, totally unpredictable. I landed at DIA this morning and shed all my SLC winter clothes before I got to the car rental.
Tomorrow will be 70.  |

| It was sweater weather today and actually I was a bit hot. Colorado winter weather is gorgeous -- really sunny most of the time. It's amazing. |
I'm so glad you guys chimed in on the weather here today! I dont think Judy, Dawn & Val believed me!! 
All I could keep saying was I DONT DO COLD!! and it was a very bitter cold (like New England)......... The dogs all loved it.. But, it looks like we "may" have 3 to 4 inches down here on the front range Tuesday... gee I may get a chance to make a crock pot of chili yet! |
| we have about 6 inches of snow here today! thank goodness I did shopping yesterday, just got to work out how to get hubbys prescription from the doctors and then the chemist! Summer can you pull a sledge? |

It is predicted to get to 31F today, with 36 for tomorrow!!! I think it will, as it is 18 already and it is 6am.  |

| Ali you are going to ruin the secret. We have miserable weather in Colorado, cold, lots of snow, NO sunshine, ice everywhere. No one should move to Co. You have to sit in major traffic jams. People should stay where they are. |

| My husband's mom was born there and he has always wanted to move to Colorado. Please don't doom us to the rest of our lives here. I have been wanting to move for years to Colorado. Now we just have to wait until we have equity again.

| Grew up in Colorado and miss it horribly. That said, CO has the snow and wind but it's a complete misnomer that it's that cold, so I totally understand what you mean, Ali. In this area of the country, we don't have the amount of snow, but in the winter it's frigid. |

Wendy I know what you mean about CA. Lived there for a couple of years in LA and hated it. At the time it was the place to be for music or seemed like it. Hollywood, whats your dream...everyone in Hollywood has a dream. What kills me are the people that say God why does it have to snow? I hate the snow? Here is some great advice MOVE!!! Then again, when the fire danger is through the roof (as it will be this summer) these same people can't have their nice green yards or the flowers are dying, etc. They whine. Once again MOVE. |
