another way to find out about breeders
What a Great experience today was for our family. Even though our one child was under the weather and he is (was) a little scared of dogs we all had an informative and wonderful time. (you know a child has enjoyed themselves when they have gone to a dog show and the zoo in one day and come home and play dog show.) I realized after that taking my son to the dog show was also a good way to show him that dogs are nice, since at a dog show dogs have been well trained and are nice. Our children still learnt that they always need to ask to pet a dog even if mommy already asked and is petting the dog. As for the sheepies Oh wonderful, and finding out about breeders AWESOME. I have been looking at two breeders and they were the two that everyone (even those who were not OES people) recommended Val Bandas (Valubal OES) and Kathy Schellenberg (Tumbleweed OES). I also have to say that Dr. and Mrs. Gary Carter (Some Buddy OES) were really nice people and their dogs were sweet, I hope that they will breed their OES too but they seem to be winding down their OES side of dog breeding. The Calgary dog show was great, it was good to meet people that I had only read about and to hear good things about breeders I have been thinking about. So for those wanting to checkout breeders dog shows are another option. people might not say something bad at a show about a breeder but they will tell you who the good ones are. |

I'm glad you went to th show. I did not know it was a specialty in Canada until yesterday......... but still wouldn't have come up that way this time of the year!! TOOOO COLLLLLDDDD  |
