So I'm sitting here in the home office (it's dark out now) and she's right behind me. My desk faces a wall, and the outside wall to my left has a window, with the blinds up. She gets up from laying down and sits next to my chair, with her back to me (for petting, of course) and her face facing the window. Suddenly she starts growling. I look over and see my reflection in the window, and that's what she's growling at! So I start waving my hands and arms around, and she has no idea it's me and growls and barks even more. She walks up to Dale's desk (right in front of the window), lays her head on his desk and stares at the person in the window, ears up. Then she comes over to me, whimpers and pushes her head on my lap as if to say - Mom! There's someone out there! Then she runs downstairs and barks out the back windows down there. Comes back up and growls/whimpers at my reflection again. Such a silly sheepie!! My protecto-pooch! |

AWWW such a good girl. Fuuny how that gets them barking if they hear something. Snowy know if the UPS guy comes and leaves a package at the. No door bell needed.
By the way the UPS guy is my SIL he knows not to ring the bell! |
Harry did the same thing the first time he noticed my reflection in the window but he figured it out once I started waving at him.
He growled at his own reflection in the window too the first couple of times - as if there are two sheepdogs holding toys in their mouth at the same time. It is nice to know you are protected Chris. |
Aw-- so cute! She sounds like she's "trying" to protect you! |
Nigel is always trying to save us from the other sheepie in the fireplace. (glass doors) |
cute but CRAZY (at least that's what I keep telling myself) at least it's not in the middle of the night |
