Legislation regarding dog ownership

Both Florida and Illinois are proposing legislation regarding the rights of dog owners. I don't know how likely it is that either of these are going to pass - but I wanted people to be aware that AKC has a legislative site where they follow various breed specific and breeding related legislation.
