anyway within the past week or so Alfie our OES has been nosing/nudging/herding static objects it started with a cardboard box that was in a position where he could get his nose underneath it and nudge it skyward... as it dropped and made a noise he jumped as if it mildly startled him then repeated it 7 or 8 times much to the amusement of myself and jess. last night he nudged a plate 4 times that was in the dishwasher, knocking it against another and startling himself. tonight hes tried nudging the laundry bin, Diesels (our husk-amute) cage, and a bottle of pepsi max aswell as the cardboard box again... is Alfie trying to tell us something or is it just a funny phase/behaviour that he has? |

sounds like he is just amusing himself |
hahah silly mutt |
one of our cats sits at the cat flap tapping it open with his paws continually, it not only winds Archie up it drives us nuts! |
If he were a child I'd say get him a drum set. As a pup, he's curious about his world and just plain having fun. If you don't keep this boy stimulated, he could get into trouble.........time to have some new adventures together. Sights, sounds are just waiting to be explored. |
Dancer nudges stuff too... it's cute and funny most of the time, annoying occasionally
She likes everything in it's place, if a broom or something isn't put away she lets me know, she'll nudge it, do a little dance, and look at me like "Well, put it away!" and she'll keep doing it til she knocks it over and scares herself. |
