These kids are my babies and it hurts so much to even have to think about this but it is for their best. Here is a little info on them: Lily: 4yo spayed female. microchipped, trained with basic commands, crate and house trained. loves other dogs/people, loves running and chasing balls. loves sleeping on the couch and bed with you. Needs a place where she will have other dogs to run with or will be trained for a job or just a high activity household. She is very spunky but pretty much stays out of trouble. She is also very independent and can sometimes be a bit stubborn but consistency pays off with her. She also adapts to new situations and surroundings very easily. Snowboots Bear. aka Bear: 4yo neutered male, microchipped. He is a shy boy at first but once he gets to know you he blossoms. He is a silly boy who loves to talk to people. Sometimes he doesnt know when to be quiet. He loves to play tug-a-war and run around with his toys. He loves running and chasing balls but he hasnt gotten the concept of fetch down quit yet. He is crate and house trained, has his CGC, knows basic commands and some advanced ones as well as basic hand signals. He is also novice rally ready although I havent started him in show yet. He loves other dogs and people, and absolutely adors men. He loves walking outside and exploring but he is also very good at being a couch potatoe. Bear is quite attatched to Lily so a home together would be the ultimate but I know that that is very unlikely. He came to me by means of my neighbor at our last apartment complex. They decided they couldnt keep him for whatever reasons. I was going to take him to rescue and had even contacted them but after staying the weekend it all worked out so nicely that he ended up staying. So this would be his third home and that is what is even more heart breaking to me. He is the best boy in the world and I hate to do this. It will be hard on him in the beginning but he will slowly adapt. I have never found a fault in him as to why they didnt want/ could keep him. He may however be able to stay with my parents but I have to still talk to them about it. If anyone knows of anyone who is looking for some real sweet loveable sheepies or if anyone is interested please contact me. There is no rush since I can take care of them until the end of the year. |

I am soooo sorry you are going through this. I'm sure with so much time to spare that you/we will be able to find a new home for your kids.
Are you still able to give enough time now? Is it possible your situation might change before the end of the year? |
Currently I have moved back in with my father, he is helping me take care of them by feeding them. The house we moved into has a back yard so they can run outside. I work 2 jobs one during the day and one at night so I really dont get to see them a lot. He is a big help to me right now and since we just signed a lease they can stay here for the year. after that I need to get my own place and wont have time to take care of them. They need more attention than I can give them personally. |
Is Velcro Voodoo still looking for a sheepie? |

Ok you found them!!
That is them. All the way from Cal. to the east cost. They still are doing great. Maybe more so. I keep intouch with their former owner. At least for awhile. |
I just love a happy ending!! |
I was going to post a update on them.
I can't beleave how much we have got so close so fast. Bear loves Daddy!!!!! but loves to lay in Moms lap for rubs. Lily askes for a belly rub every morning as daddy leaves by laying on her back with all 4 paws in the air Infact they both lay on their back like that. They know where everything is in the house and how to find it. They fit in like they have always been here, and are fun!!!!!We LOVE them so much and Give kisses all the time with returns often. |
This was such a happy ending for those sheepies. I am happy for all of you. |
