Heaven has my angel
My boy, my love, my joy! He had a good day and then crashed this evening. Marty and I took him to the emergency vet tonight. He was bleeding internally and needed a transfusion.. If he were a healthy dog otherwise we certainly would have done it but, knowing he had lymphoma it would have only given him maybe a few more days. We debated but, decided it was best to end his suffering. God speed Quin... We were blessed to have you in our lives! I fell in love with you at first sight! You taught us so much and I will never regret one day of loving you! I am sorry your life was so short... I will see you again one day my wonderful boy! |

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose these guys at any age but when they are so young, it is even worse. I lost one of my girls at 3-1/2 years of age. It was a very difficult time for my husband, me & Melody as she was Melody's companion. Thank you for having the courage to let him go when you did. He deserved that much dignity. It has been a horrible day without him but, you all have absolutely no idea how much your kind words mean to us... BUT, he would not want me to suffer either so.. I celebrate his wonderful life! My Mom sent me this pic she took of us on our last trip!

Thank you all for your thoughts in this hard time... Not a day goes by that I dont shed a tear for him but, they are slowly turning to smiles of the happy memories! We had ALOT in our brief 3 years together and I don't regret a second of bringing him into my life! Quinnie sure rescued me  |

| I'm so deeply sorry to hear of Quinns passing at such an early age.
I also found great solace here at OES.ORG, when my Tyler Joe passed just after Christmas 2005, god can it be that long ago? I came here to share with these people, who really understand what these great big clowns really mean to us. I can not imagine the pain and grief you are suffering at this point, with Quinn being so young and being ill. What I do know is that you will be able to think back on him with joy in your hearts at the wonder that was Quinn and he will again make your heart sing. It will take time, but it will come. God speed Quinn. |
