* 1C butter * 1T milk * 1t vanilla or almond extract * 6T powdered sugar * 2C flour (I did 3T less than 2C for better consistency) * 1C chopped walnuts * 1/3C powdered sugar oven 350 cream butter and vanilla. then add 6T sugar and flour and nuts. Will be crumbly but drop 1" balls onto cookie sheet (roll in hand to make smooth). Ungreased sheet. Bake 11 min. When warm, drop in powdered sugar. Then when cool, they need to be dropped once again in sugar. |

We love these....We call them "Nut butter balls" or "Mexican Wedding Cakes" |
We Greeks call them kourambiedes....which means, "don't inhale when you take a bite." |

Been there, done that!! Wish I would have known. Then again, I do it all the time while eating a powdered doughnut and never learn my lesson. I forgot the exact number but if you could eat like 3 (some small number, heck it may have been 1) powdered donuts w/o licking your lips ...you'd break it!!!!!!!!!!!! They tried on Regis, and were unsuccessful. |

oooh, I bet I could do it! I'll just slather on the chapstick beforehand and bring on the donuts (but they have to be cakey. I don't like those crispy creme style donuts) |
