I also want my condo painted inside, new carpeting, and a new washer and dryer. I do NOT want a new horse. (Even though my friend just bought one this weekend, but he's used). |

I would love to have a new car as well! I am looking since years for a RENAULT KANGOO. I love that car, it's longer, taller and bigger than mine (Citroen Saxo, very small!) and would have more space for me, Max and Charlie and still can carry some friends on the back seat. ... and we could finally go comfortable in holidays as we do in the Citroen, I have pain in my knees when driving long distance cause I cant stretch my feet while I'm driving ... no space!!
... and I want a Puppy for Charlie!!! |
Paula--I bet Bob the Wonder Pony just breathed a sigh of relief
Go on and get yourself a new, grownup car! Although, having just paid my car off this year, having a paidoffthankyouverymuch car is pretty nice too! |
Well, by golly, if your Civic is paidoffthankyouverymuch, just get yourself on down to the Honda dealership and start negotiating.
That's what I'd do if my Highlander was paidoffthankyouverymuch! Only I'd be at the BMW dealership ordering a Mini Cooper S. But hey, by all means, start painting the condo. That is totally do-able!! |
My van is on it's last legs too... I really need it to last at least another 6 months or so though...
It's got a LOT of kms on it, dog show trips use up a vehicle pretty quickly LOL |
I want a new car everyday-- there's nothing wrong with that! It would probably help if we didn't have subscriptions to Car&Driver, Road&Track and Motor Trend and I was always getting new ideas. We rotate cars pretty fast around here though. James and I love cars. |

Are you 2 personally trying to save the auto industry? My next car will be my grownup car. I can't wait. I want seat warmers! I want a sunroof. I think I want it to be gunmetal gray. I've had my car since the summer I graduated college and I love it, but my style has changed since then. Only 3 more years I think, until I get a new one... |
see I don't want a new car - I want the car I have (a 2000 RAV4 with 265,000 miles and paidoffthankyouverymuch for years now) to last two more years - or forever
It isn't much to look at but the sum total of the repairs I have done to it other than oil, tunes ups and tires are two front brake changes, one rear brake change, an oxygen sensor and a timing belt. it comes in just over $1,000. When I do get a new car it will proabably be a new RAV4. it goes through anyweather, gets respectable gas mileage and is an amazing - if not really expensive or attractive car. |
Paula! DO IT!!!! How was the transport sunday? |
My truck has been paid off for some time. I would like a new car minus the payment. Paid for truck in cash from the dealer. I'm tired of the truck and want a car, Audi wagon to be exact. Not sure of the color. I know that is what I want and when the truck dies I will start shopping.
Only problem and knock on wood, not really a problem. Truck is a 1999 with less than 100k, runs great, interior and exterior is also in good shape. Do I need a Audi? No. Do I want one? Yes. As well as a limited addition Les Paul guitar $$$ (it would be an investment). Another OES, brother for Obe. |

Paula O. wrote: A Honda Accord, preferably with a v6. I prefer dark green, but it doesn't come in that color. I have a 2003 Honda Civic paidoffthankyouverymuch. No problems with it (touch wood). A fine little car that has been very good to me. I just want a new car. I want a grown-up car. (The following sounds really awful but I don't care..) I want a car that costs a decent bit of money.
I also want my condo painted inside, new carpeting, and a new washer and dryer. I do NOT want a new horse. (Even though my friend just bought one this weekend, but he's used). John works at Honda. THANKS for keeping him working I have a CRV and love it. I say GO for it! |
My van recently died too and although I had it fixed it wouldn't start the next day so I've been renting vehicles and looking around for a new car. Can't afford one at the moment so will try to get the van fixed again. I have my heart set on a Ford Escape.
The past two weeks I've rented a Jeep Liberty (high end but nice when I was trying to get around in that snowstorm), A Honda and now a Kia. They're zippy little cars and great on gas but unfortunately with my animal rescue and life style I need to have something larger for transporting various animals, 40 pound bags of food, bedding and that will fit three dogs. Good luck to all finding the vehicle of their choice. Marianne |

Only if the Japanese are in need of a bailout! That just happened to be what we liked and/or needed this time. This is the first time in a long time that we've only had two cars between us and it's weird. We're both always looking for another fun car. A friend of ours may be losing his job and, if he does, he'll have to sell one of his cars that I have my eye on. That sounds terrible when I say it like that, though. |

I agree, but I want to fence in the back yard first, this summer. Then I'll start looking for a brother. |
