It's getting into the 40's here (105 Fahrenheit) and I'm starting to think a hair cut would be a good idea for Bally. He's never handled heat well and his coat is a fairly decent size now. Plus, I had to trim his face/legs due to mats the other day and now he looks like a reverse poodle Oh, and he started to blow his coat last week! Anyway, I'm hoping that cooling him down will mean we can still have a few walks (currently he still gets too tired at dusk and i don't want to walk in the dark!) and might also improve his appetite. I'm struggling to get him to eat as much, but the vet isn't worried so we'll see... I'm going to do it myself, completely broke right now, so no laughing when I post the finished results. xx |

I'm about to try for the first time to do Dutch's coat myself so I won't be laughing at you but with you probably |
If it's that hot and your dog is miserable, cut away!!!
Practicality takes 1st place before vanity. |
So far he looks "like a buffalo" according to my fiance.... a buffalo with a mullet |
LOL
Please tell me you are taking pictures of this!! |
it might look a little chunky at first but it will even out as it grows back. I'm sure Bally won't care once he figures out how much cooler he will be! |
